FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE IN VISUAL FORM

Originally serving as a way for me to document my MFA, this blog lives on and serves as a   warehouse for figurative language in visual form. Metaphor, analogy, euphemism, bring them on.

1. A process book that shows sketches and final works.
I am building this on Lulu.com or Blurb.com I hope to finalize changes to illustrations and have a functional "dummy" book for review soon.

2. A web-based gallery/website that documents the work.
The framework is nearly complete. The first rough is available here: http://jimhoward.name/

3. I've submitted the illustrations for exhibition in a solo show. I will learn whether my work has been accepted on 9/1/09. Even if the work is not accepted, I plan to do a mock-up of what I think the space would look like.
