FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE IN VISUAL FORM

Originally serving as a way for me to document my MFA, this blog lives on and serves as a   warehouse for figurative language in visual form. Metaphor, analogy, euphemism, bring them on.

There's an 800lb. Gorilla in the room...or is it an elephant?

Wednesday, May 27, 2009

So, after some distance, it became clear to me that there were just too many little things that I did not like about my 800lb gorilla illustration. Anecdotal research with colleagues yielded mixed results. Some though, related "isn't the phrase there's an elephant in the room?" As such, I am starting anew. I may reuse my gorilla (as I do like him), but my initial thumbnails reflect the option.
