Add Fuel to the fire_v1
Friday, January 30, 2009
This is the latest version. I'm thinking of adding yellow tones as highlights to show evidence of the blazing fire at right (off stage).
Not sure of this one just yet. Background is evolving, but I need some input on color.

A rough. The Yorkie and the Sheepdog are my favorites.
These roughs will be tooled and cropped. I will move on with next steps and post a final version by 1/30/09.

Tuesday brought the stomach flu. The aftermath brought the need to get caught up on work. Dinner Wednesday involved peanut butter, coffee, pretzels and an unripe apple. The good news is, the work is getting done.
I think I've made an important decision tonight, Thursday. I was offered the Illustrator class at Ai-York for Spring Quarter. I believe I will decline. Caring for the family, teaching full time, taking classes, teaching two nights a week, AND making time for studio has proven difficult. I think that re-ordering priorities and putting the night class on hold may yield something better than the extra paycheck.

Nail Down Ideas
Mid-week post.
Week one of Grad studio 1 charged us with developing a timeline. My committee reminded me that my lack of effort. I had started in earnest this weekend. Tuesday, I was struck by illness. For a few hours, I thought I had appendicitis. Turns out, the stomach flu can be just as fun. It's time to stop whining and start working!Time management is just part of the process.
My new catch words are PASSION, DRIVE, and INTENSITY. I hope that my work can speak for itself.

New year, new goals:
Starting next week, I start Grad Studio 1.
I also start a new regime of tightening up sketches. My plan remains the same but the work will start to take shape.
